Tomorrow at 8:30 AM CT, one of the things I will do on the Legends to help promote my request segment is to play the A Side and the B Side of a 45rpm single. The single I chose is Claude King's Big River Big Man and the B-Side of it being Sweet Lovin'. This was a #7 single on the country charts, and both appear on his 1962 album Meet Claude King.

Around the corner on AM 1300 The Legends, I will be playing Lani McIntyre's You're The One Rose (That's Left In My Heart) from 1935 followed by the A-Side and the B-Side of a Jimmie Rodgers single from 1938 that features Lani's band as the steel guitar was originally a Hawaiian instrument and these were what introduced the steel guitar to country music. The B-Side, Dreaming With Tears In My Eyes, didn't feature Lani, but the A-Side, Take Me Back Again, did feature Lani.
