Donation station! It’s time to help those in need NOW more than EVER!
Not everyone has the means to put food on their tables or warm clothes
to wear. Here’s what we came up with…
Donations will be donated to The Family Kitchen(Red Door)
*Why you might donate money to a food bank(instead of food)
1. Food banks can purchase food in bulk for lower prices.
2. Food banks can purchase what they need.
3. Purchasing food when it’s needed helps food banks deliver by its best date.
4. Your dollars go further, and your donations reduce food waste.
5. Food banks can get food that people want.
6. When food banks buy their food they can partner with grocery stores.
AND… THIS WAS LEARNED FROM THOSE IN NEED:
1. Feminine products
2. Box milk & cereal
3. Pasta & spaghetti sauce
4. Canned goods(Pop top or include opener)
5. Cooking oil
6. Spices/salt/pepper
7. Coffee, tea
8. Flour, sugar
9. Tuna & crackers
10. PB&J and bread
11. Mac n cheese
12. Non-perishable foods
A donation station will be set up for cash, clothes, food and venmo.
