You have to check out the happy hour deal at West Side!

We went all in on the “Cheap Fun” menu and got a huge pepperoni pizza and the ridiculously loaded nachos—all for $20 (that’s two items for $20!). Throw in a $5 draft beer and you’ve got a feast that’s hard to beat.

Great vibes, great beer, great food. Get over here!

Downtown Bend Just got something new!

Downtown Bend just got a serious kick—and it comes with a mechanical bull! We review The Coyote, Downtown Bend’s newest country bar that is equal parts elegant, playful, and instantly welcoming. With masterfully executed cocktails (try the Cactus Rangel!), stunning local art, a dance floor, and ...

💃 Dancing with the Central Oregon Stars is tomorrow, Oct. 18!

Thank you for showing up for Sparrow Clubs and helping make last week’s Greg's Grill on the Deschutes fundraiser such a success! With your help, Greg's Grill raised $2,600, and with our $2,000 match, that’s a total of $4,600 going to support this incredible cause.

Our friend Andre is now in first place for most money raised and all the contestants have been practicing for weeks. We can’t wait to see them take the stage!

Come cheer on Andre and the other contestants tomorrow at Caldera High School for a fun night supporting a great cause! 🌟

Downtown Bend just got a little country 🤠 We checked out The Coyote and it’s the full experience! From the mechanical bull and live music to the incredible food. The cocktails are masterfully executed and so well-balanced (try the Cactus Rangel!). Don’t miss the Southern Slides or the wild Snake Bites (spicy jalapeños with tuna!). Stop by for the vibe and stay for the fun!

We checked out The Roundabout Pub on Galveston, the new spot that used to be Dump City Dumplings. They still have those amazing dumplings, but the menu is expanded with seriously good bar food (hello, Spicy Delux Hot Dog! 🌭).

Come for the food, stay for the fun. Pool, the Lord of the Rings pinball machine, and a super friendly staff. If you’re looking for your new favorite westside hangout, this is it!

Blue Duck Saloon in Prineville Is a Must-Try Destination

If you’re craving a culinary adventure with a little Wild West flair, Blue Duck Saloon in Prineville is calling your name. Located just five scenic miles outside of town, this hidden culinary destination is more than worth the drive—offering a hearty, house-made menu in a setting straight out of Lonesome Dove.

The moment you walk through the doors, you’re welcomed into a rustic, saloon-style space that feels both rugged and refined. The menu is a love letter to comfort food, featuring everything from crisp salads and stacked sandwiches to seafood, pastas, and rich, juicy steaks.

The Ribeye Steak is a standout—a perfectly grilled cut served with loaded mashed potatoes, seasonal sautéed vegetables, and a pat of seasoned butter that melts into every bite.

What makes Blue Duck truly shine is its ability to cater to any craving. Whether you’re after a light lunch or a full cowboy-style dinner, there’s something on the menu that’ll satisfy. Pair your meal with a cold drink, enjoy the welcoming atmosphere, and soak in the beauty of Central Oregon’s backroads on your way there.

Insider Tip: Go hungry, and bring your camera—this meal is as photogenic as it is flavorful.
