We wanted to outline some community standards in regards to the Central Oregon Daily News page. This page is here to encourage and foster an open dialogue with our viewers and give you an opportunity to express yourself and interact with fellow community members. The goal of this page is to keep you updated on the latest local, state, and national news of the day. We’
ll also share various pertinent community events, posts from local schools, law enforcement, etc. By engaging with us on our page, you agreed to the conditions and terms Facebook sets forth in addition to the Central Oregon Daily News Community Guidelines. Failure to comply with the Central Oregon Daily News or Facebook community guidelines, we reserve the right to remove posts or ban you from the page at our discretion without notice. Comments and images posted on the Central Oregon Daily News page may also be used on-air, with your name and profile image. Our moderators will attempt to remove any/all posts that:
* contain abusive, defamatory, hateful, containing racially or ethnically offensive or derogatory content, obscene or sexually explicit language.
* are fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading comments.
* threaten on any person or organization or company.
* Spam, including 5 or more posts in a row by the same user that inhibits others from commenting, or advertisement postings focused on selling a product or service or comments posted for a purpose of driving traffic to a particular website for personal, political, or monetary gain, or with the intention of stopping others from commenting due to flooding of the comments section.
* are not relevant to the conversation or topic. Due to the volume of content posted and commented on, we do our best to monitor and make sure these standards are being met.
