🚨 Traffic Advisory – Funeral Procession September 9, 2025🚨

Madras Police Department, City of Madras Public Works, and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office will be assisting with a large funeral procession on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025.

The service begins at 11:00 a.m. at the Performing Arts Center, with the procession expected to take place sometime between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. An estimated 600 people are attending, with an unknown number of vehicles.

📍 Route:
• Depart Performing Arts Center on Buff Street (west)
• South on McTaggart Lane
• West on J Street (crossing 4th and 5th Streets)
• South on Culver Highway (Hwy 361)
• Ending at Palisades Mennonite Church (2100 SW Culver Hwy)

⚠️ Traffic Impacts:
The greatest delays are expected along 4th & 5th Streets, J Street, and Culver Highway. ODOT has also been advised of the event.

Please plan ahead, expect delays in these areas, and use extra caution and patience to allow the procession to pass safely.
