I just got back from voting, as has my beloved Tony. Please make sure that your vote counts today. And I'll put out one more plea for my local peeps to support our Schools, our Town and those battling Mental Illnesses. Quality of life costs dollars and better education for all of our youth costs some more. Investing in our future is one of the best investments you can make.

My beloved Benicia Cub Scouts Pack 108 had their Blue and Gold celebration and bridged our Webelos into their BSA Troops. During which they showed all their Kiwanis love to both myself and to our Kiwanis Cooks here in Benicia. I told them there and I'll say it again, "I just LOVE my Cub Scouts and their families". There is no better youth program to prepare your child for a successful life and our son did his best to try them all.

I spent a weekend helping these folks with this video shot in a Scout Camp up by Bear Valley. It was a great 4 days of shooting working with some of the best people I know. Many of them featured in this segment.

I will continue to drive less, to and from venues in the future. I've seen a very dangerous trend since high traffic levels have returned to the Bay Area after the beginning of the pandemic and in the interest of the show and the safety of operators we'll be staying local to venues:

Fatalities are climbing to record levels two years into the pandemic. Authorities cite drivers’ anxiety levels, larger vehicles and fraying social norms.

I will be wiping mist from my eyes today. Thankfully I have light rehearsals on my schedule. The Very Great Sydney Poitier has left this earth to become the angel he's always been. He is one of the kindest people I ever had the pleasure to work with.
