CAR LIFE VS VAN LIFE (Moving into an unfinished van)

I’m having to move into the van before it’s totally finished but that’s ok, all I have left is the rubber flooring to be installed.

I will be documenting my journey living in this van travelling vast wilderness areas throughout the Americas and learning skills such as extreme survival techniques and wildlife videography/photography. Follow along and learn with me whilst I also show how to travel full time on basically NO MONEY. Working when and where necessary to continue the journey!

What’s better living on the road? Truck camper or van style?

Documenting the build of my Tiny Home 4x4 mini van build and the life that follows!

2006 Japanese import 4x4 Mitsubishi Delica.

Like anything there are plenty of ups and downs, sometimes being cold, wet or uncomfortable however remaining on the path to a final goal. One example being after many cold nights in the car and or van I have now installed the diesel heater and it works well, getting me one step closer to the end of the build and a semipermanent adventure!

Being comfortable being uncomfortable is something I have always wanted to push myself further in completing and this is one way to do it.
After leaving the Uk for North America on a 2 year work visa I thought I’d take advantage of the opportunity and build this van rather than pay rent and work a job in one single town.

On the journey so far I’ve encountered things I would have never imagined like grizzly bears and wolfs and met some incredible interesting people.

I understand vanlife may not be for everyone and it’s definitely not permanent for me, however this is far from a way to deal with life rather a way to lead it.

This is all a HUGE learning process for me so follow along and learn with me!

Living in my Tiny Home, Surviving below freezing temps through the Canadian winter.

My name is Joe and after flying to North America from the UK to SoloTravel I bought a 25 year old Nissan that I lived and travelled in for 250+ days!

After I got the Nissan back from Alaska the engine blew! So I’ve bought and converted this 4x4 Japanese import minivan into something that can support my dream to learn how to survive in the wilderness and to become a YouTuber whilst doing it!
