BREAKING: US Citizen Detained by Israeli Forces While Trying to Deliver Aid to Gaza**

USA Citizen Chris Smalls, a former leader of the Amazon labor union, was on board the Handala, a ship part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, when he was detained by Israeli forces. According to eyewitnesses, Smalls was one of 21 activists detained, but was the only one to be physically assaulted while in custody.

The Freedom Flotilla Coalition claims that Smalls was choked and kicked by Israeli forces and is demanding his immediate release. They are also calling on governments around the world to end their complicity in Israel's blockade of Gaza and to take action to protect the human rights of Palestinians.
