Among the ones returning are running back Braylen Russell, tight end Maddox Lassiter, wide receiver Jalen Brown, offensive guard Kobe Branham and center Caden Kitler on offense. On defense, the Hogs are also keeping defensive lineman Keiundre Johnson and defensive tackle Kevin Oatis. Both Oatis and Johnson were true freshmen in 2025.

After several hours, police said the suspect exited the front door holding a handgun before retreating back inside the residence. Shortly afterward, the suspect reappeared outside armed with a rifle equipped with a green-dot laser, according to a news release from Bryant PD.
Police said the suspect pointed the rifle at a SWAT vehicle and fired shots. SWAT team members returned fire, resulting in the fatal shooting of the suspect and the end of the standoff.
