Our van didn’t magically give us more time, but it
took away the “maybe somedays” we lived with. It took away…

The excuses.
The planning.
The stress.
The “we don’t have enough time”

And replaced them with “sure, why not?”

It didn’t give us more time.
It gave us more ways to use the time we already had.
And now going on a trip is as easy as saying..

‘sure, where do you want to go?’
And that has changed everything. ♥️

Mom failed because she wasn’t head to toe in Reima North America | Kids Apparel rain gear😂 but the kids- 100% dry even after all the buckets of water we dumped on them!

Such a fun test with honestly the best gear! My favorites are the pants and the shoes. By far, they are going to be a lifesaver this winter on those not quite snowy, but just wet everywhere days!

Life is fast and truly we never know what is around the corner. I don’t know where our lives will take us in the future, but I know that I won’t be holding onto any regret.

Start today.
Say yes.
Take the trip.
Learn something new.
Love life- good and bad.
Do it with those you love.

Don’t wait for your kids to be older, or for retirement to roll around to make memories. Do it now.♥️

Because it’s not about the stuff but about everything you can build with it! I know outdoor gear can be expensive, which is why the end of the season is one of my favorite times to stock up. If buying something on sale makes it a little more possible to get your family outside and create more of these moments together, I’m all for it.

AL’s Labor Day Sale is their last big tent sale of the year, so if there’s gear you’ve been waiting on, now is the time to grab it.

Because the goal was never more stuff.
It’s more days like these, and investing in a lifetime of memories.

The views outside are pretty amazing, but give me these views from inside the van over any picture-perfect place, any day of the week. ♥️

Something special about growing up being squished in a van that creates bonds like no other. And it’s my favorite thing to watch!

And no, you don’t have to homeschool either..

All four of my kids are in public school and we have made a commitment over the past few years- AT LEAST one trip a month. Whether it’s just a short weekend van trip or we pull the kids out of school for a day or two- we go on vacation!!

Because we need it. All of us! And because everyone will survive missing school while exploring the real world. Don’t be afraid to miss school, and don’t be afraid of planning Fall or Winter trips- honestly they are some of our absolute favorites😍
