I had to get creative today to entertain our 2 year old.

He has been climbing on everything and getting in to allllll the things he's not supposed to get in to. I realized he is just bored and wanting to explore.

So I dug an empty container and a shallow box out of my recycling pile, made a hole in the box, and added a ball pit ball.

I seriously freaked out when I saw him. My first thought was that there was some demon in here.

Second thought had me worried it was blood.

I'm glad that he used my Superstay lipstick since it isn't rubbing off on everything, but at the same time..... why did it have to be my good stuff? 😫

We celebrated my son’s birthday with a full day of fun!

We started at the splash pad—where I completely forgot to take pictures because we weren’t there long—but we ate lunch, gobbled cupcakes, and the kids got their party favors after doing a little splashing around!

Then we headed to the skating rink for music, laughs, plenty of laps around the floor, and lots of falling down. 😂

We finished the celebration at the retro arcade with games and a little friendly competition!

It wasn’t one big traditional party—it was a whole birthday adventure filled with fun, family, and memories. Seeing my baby enjoy his special day made every stop completely worth it!

Happy birthday, Dalyn! I hope six is your best year yet! 🥳

I wish I could sleep as easily as a kid 😂

I sent Dalyn downstairs to our clean laundry pile to help me find an article of clothing. I didn't hear from him for awhile, so I came down to check out what's going on.

I found him passed out in the middle of the pile 🤣🤣🤣

How did he get there? Idk

Why does he look like a robot that ran out of battery in the middle of a job? Idk

What I do know is that I'm jealous that he gets a nap when I'm running on pure coffee and determination. Haha!

Happy first day of school!!!

We are trying out public school this year. Dustin and I would much rather homeschool, but Leona seems like she needs to be around other kids.

We are a little bit concerned with Dalyn, though. He has been doing 1st grade school work online, but because of his age, he is being forced to start kindergarten. After 45 days he will get an evaluation to see if he should be moved up.

I have a feeling he is going to be really bored during learning time and he won't be able to sit still.

We will see 🤷‍♀️

Either way... I can't wait to see how their first day goes! 🥰

Leona got an Airhead from a neighborhood kid yesterday. I gave the green light to eat it today, and like normal, she shared with her brothers.
