The Fairfax Street intersection at the northern end of the 522 Bypass is now an all-way stop with new signs in place.

New Traffic Pattern on Fairfax Street, in Morgan County, Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025

BURLINGTON, WV β€” A new traffic pattern will be implemented at the intersection of Fairfax Street and Independence Street in Morgan County beginning Wednesday, Sept. 24. The intersection will be converted to an all-way stop based on a recent study aimed at improving safety and traffic operations.

Motorists should watch for changes and allow extra time to travel through the area.

Rain has rescheduled the event that was planned for today. Now to be held next Thursday, October 2.
