MARIPOSA COUNTY, CA

There’s a little ole town before you get to Yosemite called Mariposa. Where women disappear, where cartel forced grow operations are alleged to be protected by local law enforcement, and where Mariposa County Sheriff’s Deputy Ron Van Meter was murdered by his fellow deputies after discovering rapes, drug distribution and manufacturing all by his fellow deputies.

During a visit to Yosemite National Park by the late Queen Elizabeth, a drugged out Mariposa County Sheriff’s Deputy recklessly drove his pickup truck with home made bombs and slammed into a secret service car leading Queen Elizabeth’s entourage. Two agents were killed and the deputy was taken to a Modesto hopital where his nurses stated they had to give him enough pain meds that would OD a non drug user just to stabilize his pain. He was later back on the force as a deputy again.

A multimillion dollar settlement was awarded to three families when a Mariposa County sheriffs deputy left his home after an argument with his wife and slammed into a car with three tourists killing all three. The deputy was unharmed and was not charged with any crimes.

The Cary Stayner murder investigation was bungled by the Mariposa County Sheriffs deputies who did not properly secure and gather evidence from the crime scenes. This kept the case focused on one person, Cary Stayner, yet one of the victim’s IDs was found in Modesto and she was also physically seen at a Modesto hotel tied to a chair. Had the information and evidence been properly gathered, documented and presented to the prosecutor’s office, two other very notorious m**h dealers would have been prosecuted.

The same deputies who investigated the Cary Stayner murders also bungled the Ronnie Cole alleged drowning investigation. According to the sheriff’s departments own reports, they failed to interview all people who were last with Ronnie Cole when he is alleged to have jumped into the raging waters of a local river. Frank Cole, Ronnie’s father, has stated Ronnie knew the river well because it runs through his own property, which Ronnie grew up on. He confirmed Ronnie knew when it was safe to swim and when it was not and claimed his son would never have carelessly jumped into the river as Brandy and Debbie, the two who were with Ronnie, had claimed. Only Brandy was interviewed by law enforcement at the scene and Debbie was not. After I interviewed Debbie she admitted that what Brandy told investigators was not the truth. Ronnie Cole’s autopsy report shows no water was found in his lungs and parts of his clothing did not add up for a body supposedly drowning and tumbling through rapid waters.

And a man with 470 acres in Mariposa County who stumbled upon a Cartel grow near his land complained and soon he began getting complaints from county officials about his ag vacation business. Where city dwellers could come and stay in one of his cabins. Wake up to coffee, breakfast and a wrap around deck where you could watch buffalo and deer grazing nearby. Soon, corrupt Mariposa County authorities got the opportunity they were hoping for when a women met the land owner on farmersonly.com. He invited her and her friend to come stay at his ranch for the weekend but they didn’t hit it off too well and the ranch owner had asked her to leave because he had to get back to tending to his ranch and guests. She and her friend left and later showed up at the CHP office with a black eye created by makeup claiming she had been r***d by the land owner. CHP declined to charge but followed up with the Mariposa County Sheriffs who said they would come and talk to them. The sheriffs then started a corrupt campaign of false imprisonment and theft of the mans 470 acres by getting the local court to place his property into receivership. The county then sells the mans land and no more complaints about the ma*****na grows.

These are just a few of the stories about Mariposa County, CA. A place where even the FBI is too afraid to investigate.

“Judge Moody said “the crime was pretty obviously completed in the heat of passion,” but added that Willey had “no right” to enter the room of his ex-girlfriend.

He noted that over the years, Willey has “personally elected” to not follow his medications for bipolar disorder and decided instead to “self-medicate” with illegal drugs.

“What Luke Willey should have done many years ago,” Moody said, “is recognize the absolute worst thing he could do” was replace his prescribed medications with “mind-altering drugs.”

Moody said Willey has been “disinterested” in thinking of the rights of other people.”

A Mariposa man was sentenced to over seven years in prison for crimes relating to a Sept. 22, 2017 incident in which he broke into a house in Mariposa County and callously assaulted a man who was with his ex-girlfriend. Judge Robert F. Moody sentenced Luke Willey, 38, to seven years and four months....
