Claudia Cowan joined FOX News Channel as a San Francisco correspondent in April 1998. Before that, she was a reporter with KRON-TV, the top-rated NBC affiliate in San Francisco, and an anchor/reporter at KOVR-TV (CBS) in Sacramento and KMST-TV in Monterey, where she also spent time producing and editing. A graduate of UCLA, Cowan began her career at KTTV-TV (FOX) in Los Angeles, where she worked her way up from being a messenger to an on-air reporter. She lives with her family in the Bay Area.
