About the Festival

Welcome to Grizzly Film & Arts Festival!

Grizzly Film Festival is the premier film student film festival of UC Berkeley, open to all undergraduate students in the bay area. We are proudly hosted by Delta Kappa Alpha Professional Cinema Fraternity.

Hosted annually in Berkeley, the festival features a screening of the winning films and a display of art and music from the community, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers. Our judging panel is comprised of judges from prominent Bay Area film organizations as well as local filmmakers.

The mission of Delta Kappa Alpha is to foster lifelong character, collaborative and creative storytelling, ethical business practices, philanthropic action, and fraternal bonds between students of the cinematic arts. As a professional fraternity, we serve students by teaching creative filmmaking and industry skills to produce the next generation of filmmakers.
