I don't make many direct asks on this platform. This is one.
I serve on the board of Serenity House, a nonprofit dedicated to helping women rebuild their lives after homelessness, addiction, incarceration, and trauma. On June 20th, we are hosting An Afternoon of Strength & Serenity in Santa Cruz — and we need sponsors to make it the event it needs to be.
Why sponsorship is critical, not just helpful, critical:
Nonprofit events live or die on sponsor support. Ticket revenue covers a fraction of what it costs to produce a gathering worthy of the mission and the women it serves. Sponsorship is what fills that gap — and more importantly, it's what allows every dollar raised at the door to go directly to programs.
Emergency housing. Trauma-informed care. Wellness services. Long-term stability support. These are not abstract line items. They are the difference between a woman having a safe place to sleep tonight and not having one.
When sponsors step in, the math changes. More resources reach more women. The work sustains.
What sponsors receive:
Beyond recognition — and we will recognize you well — you receive alignment with an organization that has been doing serious, documented, community-rooted work for women who have been underserved by nearly every other system.
That association has value. But more than that, it reflects something true about who you are and what your organization stands for.
Who I'm looking for:
Local and regional businesses ready to invest in the communities where they operate
Brands with a genuine commitment to women's equity and economic stability
Individuals and family foundations looking for direct-impact giving opportunities
Organizations whose values include dignity, healing, and second chances
If that is you or someone you know, please reach out. Sponsorship packages are available now, and June 20th is close.

Thank you for considering it. Thank you more WHEN you say yes.
