Mickey York Launches “CruiseCast,” Bringing High‑End Reporting to the Car World

Detroit sports anchor and car aficionado Mickey York is embarking on a brand‑new chapter with “CruiseCast,” a premium video podcast series dedicated to the automobile community. After decades in front of the camera covering champions and heartbreakers on Detroit’s biggest stages, York’s world changed dramatically – but his passion for storytelling never waned.

“Detroit taught me grit, and the car community taught me loyalty,” York explains. “One day the mic was mine, the next it wasn’t. I chose not to walk away. I’m bringing that mic back home — to the streets, parking lots, garages, and early‑morning cruises where my heart beats loudest.”

“CruiseCast” will be a high‑end production, similar in format to a Newscast. Each episode will feature York seated behind a desk with a microphone, delivering expertly produced segments that blend news coverage, business insights, human‑interest stories, and event highlights from across the automotive world. York’s commitment to storytelling shines through: “He didn’t walk away from the mic — he just changed the frequency”, bringing his signature presence to a new platform.

The series is produced by Cruis’n Media, which York owns and operates. Viewers can expect richly told stories about the people, businesses and innovations that make the car world thrive. In addition to the main show, York plans on exploring live events and behind‑the‑scenes interviews, taking audiences on a journey through a community he has loved for years.

“CruiseCast” will debut on the Cruis’n Media YouTube channel and other social platforms later this summer. Fans are encouraged to subscribe and follow on social media to receive updates and exclusive previews.
