There are a few new people around so here’s a quick summary of what you have stumbled upon here in Season 4 episode 11.
My wife Rachel and I met as Adults well after college. We’ve been married for 4 yrs. She graduated from Purdue, I graduated from an HBCU but we get along just fine. We snuck off to Vegas and got secretly married in a cheesy Elvis Presley style chapel. Rachel wore a romper, I had on jeans shorts and a fitted hat. We often have 2 completely different experiences 99% of the time. Which makes our relationship very dynamic. We embrace each other’s personalities more today than yesterday. It’s an up and down process but we say it’s just a part of Being Married. ( check my bio link for our Being Married series on YT).
Taj is 4 yrs old and our first born. I never changed a diaper until he was born. I was incredibly excited when we heard he was coming. He acts like me but smarter. He catch’s on to things extremely fast and is pretty quick witted. We sing karaoke together in the car on the way to school And we have pretty meaningful conversations.
Aaliyah is our 2nd born and She is the first girl born in our family in 30 years. I was incredibly nervous to have a daughter but now I can’t picture not having one. She is a HUGE learning curve for me and I’m embracing every minute of it. And she gets what she wants. And I’m ok with that.

I’m sure your baby registry has gone through deep Scrutiny and analysis with input from everyone you know with a baby. We were the same way. We didn’t think to add an air purifier to the registry but I’m here to say that you should! It’s great to have something that helps increase the air quality. Here’s something you may not know. My wife will ask “ What do you want to do?” And I’ll reply “ nothing “
Initially it sounds like a pleasantry that avoids an inconvenience... But for men, “Nothing” translates to being granted permission to mentally detach from the day to day if even for an hour with a glass of bourbon from . Next time you hear him say nothing... look a little deeper. I hope you appreciate that

Im not in a lot of our family pictures... Every so often I identify a complete stranger and ask them to take a picture using what they think is an oversized and completely unnecessary camera with an expensive lens. I gather the kids, Give them a 15 sec tutorial, adjust their hand positioning And pray that the picture comes out in focus.
People that I will likely never meet again in life, play a role in creating memories for my family that they likely think nothing of... but I appreciate their time... Small gestures like that is how you 🖤🖤
