Ladies, 2024 is coming to a close in just a few short days. Has it been a good year or a year of nothing but challenge for you?

I was reflecting yesterday on where I have been compared to where I am currently and where I would like to be - spiritually, emotionally, mentally & physically. there are areas of my life where I can say “girl, you got it!” And then there are areas of my life where I know I need to continue to grow and it is time to take a deep dive…..

I have found that where God is concerned, I cant seem to go deep enough, fast enough if that makes sense? I want to know ALL the things and understand alllll the things -Right Now, and it just seems like the more I read and the more I spend time with him, the more pressed I feel to go even deeper, learn faster…. And there never seems to be enough hours in my day. I would also like to be praying more than I do on an even deeper level. ( unlocking the knowledge of my authority in Christ has now spurred a fire in me that wants to be so bold and be more fervent of standing in my authority. ) I am gonna keep going

Setting boundaries….. I dont know who needs to hear this but this year was a year of boundary setting for me and 2025 is going to get even more balzy as far as boundaries. I absolutely will not tolerate any of the following (and this list may continue to grow). Mean Girls: if they are mean, they are out. I dont care if I have to see them out and about or if I have to sit next to them in a monthly meeting. They will not have unlimited access to me & it will start by giving the ole axe 🪓 on social media platforms ( I just recently went on a blocking spree and will continue to do so. This year, I have seen so many true colors, that to be honest are simply disgusting and I will no longer feel obligated to put up with behavior that I dont align with. There are two types of people: Givers and Takers. And there are two types of women: Girls Girls or Mean Girls, there is no time for mean girl energy in my camp.
This will be the same for family. I am over it.
There is a really fine line between loving people where they are at and being loyal to family and straight being abused by others toxicity. Life is way to short and the more that I age, the less energy I want to spend on ridiculousness.

Growing professionally: I will continue to grow in professionalarenas that fuel me. My airbnb business, my aviation career and real estate. And will be diligent to continue to learn so that I can be the best in each one of those arenas.

Being diligent with friendships: I am so fortunate to have some amazing women in my camp currently and in the last year, I have made a list of women I want to spend more time with. Christian women that emulate the heartbeat of God. Women younger than me and women older than me that I want in my corner & I want to be in theirs. I am seeing more coffee dates in 2025..

Getting back on the treadmill. Listen…. If you know, you know 😂…. But seriously, I just need to get back on it as far as exercising goes because I momentarily fell off the wagon…
Also, super proud of myself for my health journey over the last two years as far as eating and supplementing ( have zero regrets about ditching the booze!) and I am gonna keep going.

Loving myself….. I think I am pretty cool and I am going to continue to find beauty in me and appreciate the precious parts of who I am.

Well anyways, this is where I am at…. And I want to encourage each of you to sit down and reflect on your own goals and acknowledge the beauty that is within you as well. Make that list of all of the beautiful things about yourself…. I think you will find it will be longer than you initially thought …

Lets make 2025 a year of growth, joy, prosperity, peace and success. ❤️

Holidays in Amish Country typically equates to lots of mashed potatoes 🥔 and trust me when I say… I am here for it & my hips don’t lie 😂 So how do you make the perfect mashed potatoes? I am going to tell you all of my secrets…

1. Mashing the potatoes: I have found that sour cream is what we love the most. I cant give you exacts BUT in this 6lb batch I used one Large 24 ounce of sour cream, salt, whole milk or a mix of heavy cream and milk and 1/2 stick of butter. Mash them good so they are creamy.

If you are making your potatoes ahead of time, you are going to want them a little bit on the creamier side but not runny if that makes sense.

Add your mashed potatoes to your pan and then make the magic ingredient…..
🧈Browned Butter 🧈
Yes friends, the secret sauce is Browned Butter. I actually learned this 28 years ago from my former MIL and I havent been right since 😂 and there is no going back.

For 6 lbs I put 2 sticks of butter in a cast iron skillet ( I only cook with cast iron). The trick here is to melt your butter and let it essentially cook until it’s a beautiful golden brown but be careful because you dont want to cook it to fast and have it burn on you. ( medium to lpw heat here, People) You will watch it go through its many shades of cooking from just melted yellow to its beautiful brown hugh….
There is nothing as delicious as the nutty browned flavor of browned butter with these perfect mashed. potatoes…. People at your table will be raving!

I know someone is going to ask me about cream cheese in mashed potatoes…. You can absolutely add some of that in your potatoes also, on occassion I will throw some in, I am preferential to sour cream though myself because I love the flavor and I love the creaminess of the potatoes….

Red Aspen VS Kleo Color Press ons, Who won? Hands down for me, Red Aspen is the clear🥇 winner 🥇and trust me when I say this….. I really wanted to love both of these options and if Kleo works for you, thats amazing, you can snag some of my nails that I purchased up if thats the case.

•. I applied both sets exactly how the directions read annnd how I was taught via tick tock. I was also a licensed nail tech so I dehydrated my nail plate also. I also put both sets of nails on before going to bed as instructed so that everything could adhere…
Both sets were medium length

Kleo:
• 24 hours in, roberta got a hold of my nail and ripped it off. 😂 but truly, I think the issue for me with these is that 1. I use body oil on my body every day of the week and the glue that adheres these nails is broken down by oil. So if you are someone that doesnt use lotion and doesnt have your hands in water all the time, again these may work just fine. I had to keep pressing them down and back to my cuticle ( again probably because of the oil use akd breaking down the sticky)Removal was incredibly messy. I had to remove within 5 days.
Also, these got caught in my hair by day 3 and I cant handle all that lol.

Red Aspen: again, followed application techniques from tick tock, and also dehydrated. I am on day 5 and have literally been baking, roberta has attempted to take these off with no success, hands in water constantly, oiling my body daily and I have had zero compromise nor has my hair gotten caught one time. This company has an acrylic versionthat I purchased also ( incredible quality) that I will do the next time. These are a definite yes for me…

Price wise- Kleo is a couple bucks cheaper than red aspen but for me, I will pay $3 more if they work for me.

I did not purchase either set from a rep, went directly to their website to buy. And the only reason I did it that was because I wanted to buy and review outside of knowing someone….

I have four sets of Kleo nails that I am selling if anyone out there loves them and wants to snag them. One box has been used obviously. So hit me up and we can do a porch pick up.

Christmas is one of my favorite holidays 🎄 and there are a bazillion things that I love about the season that make my heart gushy.
I absolutely love the reverence of the season. And yes, I know that Jesus wasnt born in December, but the reverence of the gift of Jesus to all mankind gets me teary eyed… God is such a good God. I also love a traditional candlelight service without all the new age components. My kids being home is like no other… talk about a gushy mom heart ❤️ 😂 my kids make my heart melt.
Also add to the list pretty packages with bows. I dont know what it is about it but I absolutely love love packages with Ribbon…

Obviously, Christmas is my favorite so I could go on and on and on but I want to know

Hi there, It's been a minute and about 199 changes in my life so let's have a formal introduction and get to know each other again...... Obviously, my page reflects a little bit of a name change..... as I am moving away from a retail presence and moving in to a space that will allow me to share all aspects of my life with you.
With that being said, what is new in my world??...... Well, in October I reactivated my Real Estate License after years of having it in Escrow. I am SUPER EXCITED to be back in the saddle again as I have been a licensed real estate agent since 2004 and I genuinely love it. I can work with anyone in the state of Ohio as the company I aligned with, Cutler Real Estate, is state wide and beyond. We can even sign you up for an auction if you decide that is the way you want to go.

Am I still Flying? Yes! I absolutely love Being a flight attendant but realized this year that being pulled in two different states really wasn't the most conducive situation for long term success..... So I went down to part time in august and am now flying 3-4 days per month typically over a weekend so that I am not missed here in Ohio so much. Breeze is suppose to be opening Akron Canton ( hoping for a 2025 opening) and so I am impatiently awaiting that.... and honestly I am hoping for sooner than later because how nice would it be to live in my house full time and not have to travel to work?! eeek!

I am working on getting back in to a more consistent presence on social media, and continuing to share with you things that work for me and things that I love and also to simply do life with you.... Women need women ( I will die on that hill) so let's do this life together.

Oh, and I bought this adorable bird..... who has absolutely captivated my little heart and makes me feel like Snow White on any given day of the week and it seriously makes my heart gush. I will drop a couple of bird pics in the comments..... She is adorable.

Anyways, If you are still here, Thank you for sticking around...... This last year.... ok let's be honest... the last TWO years have been a lot of transitioning and change, finding myself again after Cancer and a store shut down and learning to maneuver, live and set work roots in New Orleans where the population is 400,000 versus Holmes County where the population is 45k Lol....

It feels good to be back........ More to come.....
