🚧NOTICE OF TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURE – VILLAGE WAY

LOCATION: Village Way will be temporarily closed south of Main Street (U.S. Hwy 218) to just north of Directors Drive. Directors Drive, the east entrance to Swiss Village’s Main Campus, will remain open and accessible from the south.

DATES: The Street Closure will begin on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The expected duration will be through Wednesday, September 9, 2026 (weather permitting).

REASON FOR CLOSURE: The continuation of the Berne Sanitary Sewage Project.

UPDATE: With Berne’s sewer improvement project progressing far enough west, Village Way, from S.R. 218 to the entrance of Swiss Village (Director’s Drive), will close to traffic Sept .1. The closure is expected to last through Sept. 9. The entrance to Swiss Village will still be accessible from the south.
