✈️ Important Travel Update – January 5, 2026
Your safety and peace of mind are always our top priorities. Due to developing security concerns in the region, the FAA has issued emergency airspace restrictions over Venezuela and surrounding areas, including Curaçao.
What this means for your travel:
U.S. carriers are currently rerouting or pausing operations in parts of the Caribbean and northern South America.
🚩Major airlines—including American, United, Delta, JetBlue, and Southwest—are adjusting schedules in real-time.
📍 Key areas seeing disruptions:
🚩Puerto Rico: Most U.S. operations at SJU, BQN, and PSE are currently suspended.
🚩The Caribbean: Delays/cancellations reported for DR, USVI, St. Maarten, Barbados, Aruba, and more.
🚩Cruises: Itineraries may shift if they rely on regional air travel or flyovers.
