This will give others opinions that could effect amateur radio. The negitve opinions could lead to loss of hams or even the loss of the whole service. So please try to live up to the amateur radio creed.

Happening tonight! 👇🏻 7 billion people will witness the Full Moon turn blood red tonight.

The total lunar eclipse will last 5 hours 27 minutes, with 82 minutes of full totality when the Moon sits fully inside Earth’s shadow. During this phase, the Moon will glow deep red and copper, creating a striking Blood Moon.

✨ Where to watch?

🟠 Africa & Europe – Full eclipse visible as the Moon rises in the evening.
🔵 Asia & Australia – Best seen late at night or early morning on Sept 8.
🌍 Pacific Islands – Clear view across most of the region.
⚠️ Americas – Eclipse visible as the Moon rises in the evening.

The event takes place only 2.6 days before perigee, when the Moon is closest to Earth, making it appear slightly larger than usual.

The ARRL RTTY Roundup is this weekend starting at 1800 UTC on Saturday and concluding at 2359 UTC on Sunday. Operation is allowed using the RTTY mode on the 80-, 40-, 20-, 15-, and 10-meter bands.
