Artist Exposé: Jane Bate

We’ve had the pleasure of working with local musician, playwright, and author Jane Bate over the past few years as she brought an incredible, nearly two-decade-long creative journey to life: Salem the Musical.

Jane has poured years of writing, composing, and passion into this ambitious project, and it has been a privilege to be a small part of the process as she put the final touches on her work.

Salem the Musical is a powerful and imaginative look at one of the most fascinating and troubling chapters in American history—and Jane’s dedication to telling this story through music and theater is truly inspiring.

We’re proud to have been part of Jane’s journey and can’t wait to see where Salem the Musical goes next! 🎭🎶

Jane Russell Bate is a Connecticut musician who has immersed herself in music from an early age. Along with an introduction to piano lessons through the West Hartford Summer Music and Arts program, her school and private lessons in piano, flute, and bassoon impelled her to follow music as a career.....

We had a fantastic session with talented singer Ava Copeland this weekend! 🎤

Ava's singing talent spans several genres; she performed a powerful and inspiring rendition of 'Amazing Grace', Taylor Swift's 'White Horse', and wrapped with the beautiful 'I Dreamed A Dream' from Les Misérables.
