Nothing tastes like home… especially when Mom is in the kitchen. 🇵🇷❤️

Today is a special day in our home. My mom is visiting us from Puerto Rico, and she cooked this incredible meal that instantly brought back so many childhood memories.

On the plate today:

🥑 Creamy avocado
🍚 White rice
🫘 Habichuelas guisadas with calabaza
🍌 Crispy tostones
🥩 Crispy breaded chicken (pollo empanado)

It’s amazing how one homemade Puerto Rican meal can make you feel like you’re back on the island, sitting around the table with the people you love.
