Young runners from across Western Alaska braved the shifting soils of the Bethel sand pit on Saturday for the community’s annual cross country invitational. The race brought nearly 160 athletes to the pit, representing a total of 10 communities.

Next up, the Bethel Warriors are headed to Anchorage to race in the Mountain City Christian Academy invite on Sept. 5.

The Bethel Heights Water Treatment Plan water test results were negative - meaning no contamination was found.
The Boil Water Notice is officially rescinded.

Bethel Heights piped water system are under a boil water notice until further notice.

Bethel Heights piped water system experienced a loss of pressure to the water system thus forcing the need for a Boil Water notice to the public.

We are trying to determin the cause of pressure loss. Once pressure is restored, water samples will be collcted for testing.

We apologize for this inconvenience and will continue to keep you posted.
