I asked that those that read the book give me their feedback, comments and reviews. I received a review this morning that brought me to tears. I'd like to share that with you....

Inspired Poems for the Soul by Alma Laughlin-Warren the first collection of poems that we have had the pleasure of receiving is just that art. Good poetry as with any good art allows the reader to identify with the poet or takes the reader on the journey the poet is attempting to convey through his or her words. In this first collection we are given a glimpse into the mind of a woman strong in her faith and secure with herself. Reading this collection of poems we can see a woman loyal and dedicated to her family, someone who has learned from her mistakes and is not afraid to admit that living a full life requires that we all understand that we are works in progress. Poems like Free Woman, Strong Woman, Old Gray Aunt Fannie, and Femininity help us see that Mrs. Laughlin-Warren is quite possibly a matriarch in the making, with so much advice and wisdom to give to the younger women around her. Some of my other favorites would be His Presence (it flows nicely and paints a good picture), Healthy Child (conveys a message we should all heed to), and Legacy (we get to see how important a father's influence is on his family.) As a whole Inspired Poems for the Soul leaves us readers eagerly waiting for the next collection. -rw
