White Christmas?

There’s a chance! Models are showing a clipper system next Tuesday, this is a weak one but COULD freshen the ground with a C-1” of powder. We should be able to maintain it into Christmas Day with temperatures.

However following this, some long range modeling is showing a run into the 60’s for high temps from the 26th to 28th!

It appears winter does return towards year end, so hang tight snow lovers!

Down to 14 ° tonight with gusty winds. Be on the lookout for blowing and drifting snow and black ice. I would bet on school delays for Monday.

Also, the chance exists for snow showers and snow squalls between 5PM and 7PM Monday, COULD drop a coating to half an inch or so, I will be monitoring the radar and post as it becomes relevant!

How did I do?

Overall, I think forecast was fine, aside from north of blue mountain range being in the 2-4" range obviously. Unfortunately, you can't just go 100% against modeling and make things up. So, Pocono region, you have Mother Nature to blame....
