Rain will taper this evening, clouds return for Saturday morning, and then some more rain (heavy at times) move in for the afternoon into Saturday night.

Looking ahead, we should shift down towards seasonal cool temps starting next Thursday, with a storm threat right around Thursday (likely OTS), with follow up storm potential around the 18th.

Iโ€™m still kicking. Iโ€™ve got more feeling in my legs, was able to take a little walk with the walker. They say Iโ€™ll be here till at least Friday and then need some rehab. Hoping for some snow to track when I return. I guess this was timed ok with a brief warm up ๐Ÿ˜‚. Still have double vision hence the pirate patch!

One more cold day for Monday with a chance of an afternoon snow shower and high of 34ยฐ.

Tuesday and Wednesday will make a run in the mid forties, with Thursday going towards 50!

These flu symptoms Iโ€™ve had since Christmas Eve have really taken a turn in the last 24 hours. At this time we do not have any answers but the team at St Lukeโ€™s has been absolutely incredible. Please keep the LVWA family in your thoughts and prayers.

The lake effect snow machine is getting fired up over NW Pennsylvania, while the snowbelt is getting rocked, we will be on the look out for some streamers and squalls that head east towards the Lehigh Valley!

The window for these snow squalls will be 5PM to MIDNIGHT NEW YEARS EVE! I will be tracking the radar as always to give you the up to the minute forecast. Give yourself plenty of travel time, it's a big night! BE SAFE

There is another chance of light snow possible New Year's Day.
