Held in our own backyard in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, the festival weekend on October 18 - 20, 2019 will include:
Prerace dinner with Runner's World editors
3.8 mile Trail race (Friday)
5K and 10K races (Saturday)
Kids races, children's programming (Saturday)
Half marathon (Sunday)
And if that's not enough for you, take on our multiple-race options – the Grand Slam (trail, 5k, 10k & half marthon), the Hat Trick (5K, 10K, & Half Marathon) or the Five & Dime (5K &10K).
Once again, HQ for the weekend will be on the grounds of the beautifully refurbished Bethlehem Steel Mill and ArtsQuest SteelStacks campus.
Here's what a couple of runners had to say about their experience:
"The Runner's World Half & Festival was the greatest event I have ever been to. My only regret is not being in a good enough shape to do the Hat Trick. Thank you to all the staff. I have pictures and stories to last me until the next one!" – Brad Tobin, 10K
"I was overwhelmed by the generous and empowering staff, volunteers, runners, pacers and spectators. This event solidified for me that I DID make the right choice, and that there is a vibrant, competitive and committed running community in the Lehigh Valley." – Rami Steinruck, Hat Trick
"I have never written to any of the races that I have run, but I have to tell you 'Great job.' The course was wonderful. The expo was great. If there were any mistakes with the race or the expo, only you guys noticed because you must be perfectionists." – Dan and Carol Tirone, Half Marathon
"We had pre-paid for parking, which was a great way to go. WHAT A GREAT EVENT! You guys did a fantastic job. I was super impressed." – Bob Scott
"I would just like to take this time to thank you for the wonderful day you folks at Runner's World planned. Over the past couple years, my wife and I have been getting into more and more exercise and by doing so we both have lost over 100 lbs. My wife had been training for this race and I had a set back and had knee surgery on July 18th, 2012 and I was so happy that I could start my racing at your event. We both get the magazine and are looking forward to Runner's World making us better runners. Our goal is to be able to run a half marathon next year and then a full marathon. Once again thank you for a great weekend!" – Michael Brooks
