Deck the Downtowns kicks off tonight across QC

Deck the Downtowns, a joint holiday promotion between the Downtown Bettendorf Organization, Downtown Davenport Partnership and Rock Island Downtown Alliance, begins tonight and runs through the new year.

The downtown organizations, all part of the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, will once again offer a slate of holiday fun from activities, shopping and seasonal fun. The event, which officially begins Wednesday, Nov. 19, features two tree lightings, the popular ornament hunts, a cookie crawl and a holiday display competition.

C&W Transport Solutions was named the QCBJ’s Fastest Growing Company at a Thursday, Nov. 5, Quad Cities Waterfront Convention Center event that saluted 25 of the most dynamic companies across the six-county region.

Before a crowd of 220 business leaders, employees, family and friends, C&W claimed the 2025 title with an impressive 337.01% revenue growth in its fourth appearance on the Fastest Growing list.
