The Van Manen music is for Nature Loving Families. Listen and create a family lifetimes memories.

Hi it’s us...Dave and Helene Van Manen. We started writing and performing for children and their parents when our kids were little back in the 80’s. It’s hard to believe it’s been that long...but it’s true. Today our music is as needed ( maybe more ) and relevant to what parents want for their children. All our albums have songs with positive earth centered messages about living healthy on the planet. Our songs were recorded with real musicians and real instruments....not synthesized canned music. We are proud of that and parents say they love it because the music is reflects high quality acoustic folkmanship and makes it enjoyable for parents to listen to along with children. Bottom line: our music won’t drive you crazy....but we can’t promise you won’t have to listen over and over when requested by your child.

Teachers love our music too. It was designed to be used in the classroom so songs like I Am A Earthkeeper and We Recycle has important lessons that link to what you are teaching your students about taking care of the planet.
