I had the pleasure of meeting Sidney Poitier in Beverly Hills at a Whole Foods a few years ago. He was by himself, shopping for a late night snack, as was I. We spoke briefly and I told him Thank You for opening the door for people like me to work in Hollywood Film industry. He starred in countless films, theatre and Broadway productions. His body of work as Actor, Producer, Director is unparalleled. Thank You for not only opening the door, but keeping it open for others to follow.
