Before any film is cast, financed, produced or distributed there must be a high quality screenplay. The Los Angeles Screenplay Competition is run by people who produce feature films. We are specifically looking for screenplays to p

roduce and talented screenwriters to contract to write
screenplays for production. ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Los Angeles Screenplay Competition is proud to announce the 2013 season to find screenplays that can be produced and to identify screenwriting talent that can be developed into writers for today's filmmaking industry. LA Screenplay President Rafael Primorac has produced many commercial and art house films with screenplays that he either developed or optioned from new writers giving them their first break into Hollywood films. Primorac is responsible for bringing "Game of Death" starring Wesley Snipes, "Giallo" starring Adrien Brody, and "Mysteria," starring Danny Glover, Billy Zane, and Martin Landau from script to screen. The 2011 LA Screenplay Competition took place in October 2011 at the world famous Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA. The 2012 LA Screenplay Competition took place in September 2012 at the hotspot Confidential in Beverly Hills, CA. AWARD CEREMONY TEASER:
