💍💋 *Wife vs Girlfriend*
*“She Was Never Boring… I Just Stopped Noticing.”*

I used to think my wife had changed.
She wasn’t as spontaneous anymore…
Didn’t dress up like she used to, laughed less, slept more.

Meanwhile, a new colleague at work bright, lively, always complimenting me made me feel *seen* again.
She asked about my day, noticed my cologne, laughed at my jokes.
And I began to wonder… *Did I marry too early?*
Was I missing out on someone more exciting?

But one night, I came home late.
My wife had already eaten alone. No anger. No complaints.
Just a plate covered for me, a note beside it that said:
*"I know you're tired. I’m proud of how hard you work. Don’t forget to eat."*

That moment hit me harder than I expected.

I looked around…
Photos of our kids on the wall.
Her favorite mug on the sink.
My clothes, folded neatly on the couch.

And I realized…

*She didn’t stop being special - I stopped appreciating her magic.*

I missed the version of her who danced in the kitchen, who whispered affirmations into my dreams…

But I forgot she’s also the woman who stayed through my mood swings, forgave my cold shoulders, and loved me when I was too distracted to love her properly.

The colleague?
She saw the polished version of me.

But my wife?
She loved the *real* version...the tired, the broke, the building, the doubting.

And now, I just want to spend the rest of my life reminding her…

She’s not boring.
She’s the reason I even made it this far.
And I won’t forget again.
