What a night, Dallas. 🎤🍵

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for our Industry Panel and helped make the night such a special one.

From great conversations and real industry insight to new connections being made throughout the room, this is exactly what the Green Tea community is all about. Bringing artists and music lovers together to learn, connect, ask questions, and grow is why we continue to do events like this.

A special thank you to Ryker for sharing her time, knowledge, and perspective with everyone in the room. We loved hearing her insight and giving Dallas artists the opportunity to learn directly from someone working in the industry. 💚

Sometimes the most valuable thing an artist can have is someone who will actually listen. 🍵

We sat down with Freydoe to talk about his experience with Green Tea Distro and one thing he kept coming back to was always having an ear when he needs one.

Last night was an absolutely movie 🍵

Dallas, this was our second visit in the last 10 weeks, and we really cannot thank you enough for the incredible hospitality. Providing and an incredible experience for the native Texas artists was the goal, but we are leaving back to Los Angeles so fulfilled ourselves.

Ryker was dropping gems on topics such as breaking out of a B-Market, when it is right time for management in an artist’s career, what to expect from management, and the importance of approaching your ego on both the creative and business side of music.

It was a night of community, connectivity, collaboration, emotion and love, and togetherness. An we cannot wait to do it again with Dallas again soon!

Big thank you to CASHMIR Collective & Crazy Bars I’ve Heard for getting us back to Texas and making last night incredible.

Artists - we love you and cannot wait to see you soon!

WHAT’S ONE PIECE OF ADVICE EVERY ARTIST SHOULD IGNORE? 👀

You’ve probably heard a lot of “rules” about how to build a music career.

But some of the most repeated advice can actually hold artists back.

Things like:

* “Wait until everything is perfect.”
* “Release less so people don’t get tired of you.”
* “Don’t copy anyone.”
* “You need a label first.”
* “Just let the music speak for itself.”

Some of these work for certain artists…

Others can keep you stuck for years.
