Wedding Story 📝 ✨

2 years ago I was the DJ for CrossFit RBP Comp for a Cause and while I was mixing a woman came up to my table to ask if I could DJ her wedding. I said “I would love too! When is it?” She replied, “July 2027” and asked if I was available. I chuckled and told her “I am complete free two years from now!”

From that day on Haylee Sanchez felt more like a pen pal than a client! Every call with her was filled with excitement about her future wedding dance-floor and desire for it to be filled with pure fun!

The day finally arrived after two years of anticipation!

I provided the mixes and desire to give her everything she hoped for 🤞🎛️🎶

It was truly the bride who brought the contagious fun with all her friends and family. She never left the dance-floor and she was glowing with the energy and love that surrounded her 🫶

It was an absolute pleasure to be Haylee and John’s wedding DJ. I am truly thankful 🙏💛

Being a wedding DJ is all about creating unforgettable memories! There’s nothing better than bringing a personalized touch to the dance floor and packing it with smiling faces from the first dance to the last mix of songs.

The bride mentioned during one of our phone calls that her husband-to-be is a college basketball coach in New York. That gave me the perfect idea to end the night with a surprise just for him, as well as all the basketball fans in the room: a four-song mix packed with energy and nostalgia.

As a wedding DJ, you do your best to prep the setlist for the best possible outcomes on the dance floor - basically predicting the future 🔮.

The best wedding DJs are the ones that have a plan and can make observations during the entire wedding day that will alter the setlist for a better dance floor than their predictions.

For this wedding, in the bridesmaids speech for the bride, I found out that the she was a life time fan of One Direction. With that, I made a mental note to place a 1D song in the setlist for dancing, and the outcome was astounding❣️🪩✨
