Lunch at Anchor Pub & Grille on Monday came after a meeting with a bigwig to discuss support for the upcoming Salem Film Fest.

and went because they knew that even on a Monday, The Anchor would be be open for an early afternoon meal. They missed breakfast service, but that was fine.

The Crab Cakes folks... the Crab Cakes. Oh geez. If you're a crab cake fan and have never had these Crab Cakes, like our BaldGuy before lunch, you have to, HAVE TO try these. Meaty is not the word. If there's any filler in there, you'd be hard pressed to find it. We will add these to our next crab cake photo array.

The house Lobster Pie, known all across the north shore as a meal for someone with a real appetite, and the Grilled Swordfish, both from the special board were ordered. It was a side of pilaf with the pie, and some excellent Brussels sprouts paired with the Swordfish.

It all ended on a high note with a couple of HP Hood Hoodsie Cup Sundaes. What more could you ask?
