This is part of scheduled maintenance by Emergency Management officials.

Storm Siren Testing

On Friday, September 26, 2025, City of Big Spring Emergency Management officials will conduct maintenance and testing on the emergency warning siren system. There will be short intervals of siren testing between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. We will complete siren testing at 1 p.m. Any siren heard after 1 pm on Friday, September 26, 2025, will not be a test.
