Day 11 of vanlife

We are on the Oregon coast this week and it’s been so dreamy 🌊

• we watched sunrise at cannon beach and saw puffins!
• went to insomnia coffee for an oat milk latte
• took cholla on a walk at the beach
• shopped around cannon village
• had a bonfire at the beach
• and dinner + scrabble in Tori’s van

traveling down the Oregon coast in the vans 🚐

This is a really special area to us but we’ve never explored the northern coast! We started in Astoria, where we went to a few shops. Then we drove south of cannon beach to Arcadia to spend the evening on the beach with Cholla.

we needed to evacuate this campsite because of the nearby wildfires…

but we managed to squeeze in a few adventures on our last day.

🍑we got peaches from draper girl country farm
🪻we picked a lavender bundle from hood river lavender farm
☕️ visited stoked coffee roasters for a latte
🍕and got vegan pizza down the street at solstice wood fire pizza

Week 2 of full time vanlife ☀️🌀

we spent the second week of our trip at the lake, parked in the forest by a secluded creek.

we had so many dreamy moments here - cold plunging in the creek, swimming at the lake. We even went on a full day canoe trip with Cholla. We watched sunsets on Tori Prince ‘s roof deck at camp and danced at the beach. (special shoutout to the stranger who took film photos of us dancing 🥹 John Smith )

Cholla is still learning to be a neutral boy in all these new environments and it’s been a struggle training him at times… but we’re taking it day by day and going at his pace. We rented a canoe so he could have some serene time on the lake with space from other dogs/people and it ended up being one of our favorite things we’ve done.
