Thank y’all for all the sweet comments on yesterday’s outdoor adventure video. 😂 A lot of y’all were cracking up at my mom yelling in the background when I started removing leeches from the catfish.

So in honor of that… here’s a throwback. 😂

We were on a girls trip to California for my Sweet 16 driving Highway 1 to San Francisco when we spotted an elk on the side of the road.

In this clip, I’m wanting to feed the elk a french fry while my mom is in the background saying:“NO RAYLEN THAT IS A WILD ANIMAL.” 💀

I’ve honestly just always been this person, and my mom has apparently been dealing with my nonsense for a VERY long time now. 😂

But don’t worry, I have grown up since then. I definitely would not try to feed wildlife a french fry now… BUT if I had lettuce in the car… I’m kidding. 🤣

In all seriousness, I’ve definitely learned how important it is to respect wildlife and give animals their space. These are amazing creatures, but unless they truly need help, they’re living their best lives without our interference. ❤️

Well… today in Diamondhead got WAY more interesting than I expected. 😂

I had absolutely zero plans to make a video today, but somehow the day turned into me catching a giant rat snake in a parking lot and relocating it back to the woods… spotting a bald eagle flying overhead on Memorial Day weekend… and then catching a catfish covered in leeches while my mom completely freaked out in the background. 😭🐍🦅🐟

Safe to say, it turned into a full blown outdoor adventure real quick. Honestly, I LOVED every second of it. The video is kind of chaotic in the best way possible. Definitely not your average “news anchor” content. 😂
