Hello, theatre fans, and fans of the The Bingen Theater.

We are in need of help to save the theater. The HVAC went out as we were finishing up our run of Leading Ladies before Covid hit. We made it through with space heaters, but that obviously isn't a long term solution. Also, if you've ever been to a summer show (think "CHICAGO" when CGOA did that in June), you know that there has never been air conditioning.

Well, the owner of the theater needs to fix these things, and let's face it a few others, or consider shutting it down. Rod, the owner, has always kept the cost to use the space VERY affordable and many times free for certain groups or activities. That doesn't put anything in the bank for stuff like this.

SO, Rod needs our help. If you've ever gone to a show, and want to go to another, will you please consider pitching in $25? Maybe a little more? There are raffle tickets to buy, if you'd like a chance at seeing me direct CGOA's upcoming production of RENT in May, or a Pigs on the Wing concert (Pink Floyd tribute band). These shows are scheduled, but I'd hate to see them be the last.

I am normally the one donating, not asking, and this doesn't go to me, but it does go to a cause that will keep the doors open on a home away from home for me, and a place to hold the amazing season I have in store for next year, if the theater survives.

Please do what you can.
