The Alabama Sports Writers Association released its weekly high school football poll Wednesday morning. Hewitt-Trussville has risen to No. 1 in Class 7A, the first time the Huskies have been the top-ranked team since 1991. Clay-Chalkville, right up the road from Hewitt-Trussville, is still No. 1 after knocking off Thompson last week.
