Photos from last Metal night featuring Spirit Guardian Music, Forest Haven, Until Skies Fall, and long cold stare. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported all,of these amazing bands! I’ll have some more content coming from this show soon! Forest Haven ripped with killer guitar harmonies and guitar riffs, Until Skies Fall played a great mix of originals and covers and got the crowd running around hitting each other for fun, and Long Cold Stare was unrelenting and brought the show straight to the crowd! Thanks again to all the amazing bands, True Story Brewing Company, Johnny, Stephanie, Leon and my amazing wife Gloria!

I had a great time at The Guild last Friday when they hosted a free metal show at their shop! Spirit Guardian Music, Evil Eye and Witch Hunter played while the games kept going in the main shop area. Big thanks to David for hosting the event and for trying to help build some community around heavy music in the area! They hope to do more out there and I believe there’s another show coming up on September 6th so keep an eye out!

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported metal night for August! Huge thanks to EMBR, Witch Hunter, DayGlo Mourning and BlxckSheep for playing their asses off and making the show incredible! EMBR started the night off and set the tone for every band to come! The whole band was locked in and sounded absolutely crushing! Crystal’s vocals are melodic and haunting and soared over the top of the heavy foundation put down by Erik, Mark and Justin! Witch Hunter took the stage next for the first time in several months and didn’t miss a beat! These guys are always right and Seth’s vocals are always bonkers to hear live. Devin, Jesse and Brad are all fantastic players and play their asses off every time! Next up was Dayglo Mourning from Atlanta! I was stoked to finally host these guys and they didn’t disappoint! Jerimy, Joe and Ray are not only super nice dudes, but they dropped a 10 ton hammer of doom on true story against a backdrop of some old school sci fi flick on the projector! The guys trade off vocals with Jerimy handling the low end, both on instrument and voice, and Joe rocking the high notes and guitar! These guys were badass and on top of that, about half the gear they were playing was also built by Jerimy! BLXCK SHEEP were the last act to take the stage and this was my first time seeing them as well! I’ve known their drummer, D.K, for a few years now and was excited to check out his newest project! They put on a killer show with a mix of hardcore, alt-rock and some rap and had the crowd all bobbing along through their set! The band consists of STRXNGE on vocals, with Addy on guitar/backing vocals, Moon on rhythm/bass and D.K. On drums/backing vocals!
