says. What started as our worst and most heartbreaking deer season just turned into our BEST EVER.
Meet the deer we call Psycho and yes, he’s finally home.
Carter shot this buck on November 12th. The muzzleloader had a hang-fire delay, and the shot hit low, breaking his front leg. What felt like our best hunt in the moment quickly became our worst. A long, emotional journey followed.
Fast forward a few weeks… a neighboring lady found him dead and reached out. Needless to say, she made our day and our season.
Unforgettable.
Psycho is dead and in our possession.
Thank You, Lord. ✝️

Was a fun hunt ! Hoyt Archery The Sportsman Channel

says. Finally tagged my first deer of the season on January 12th 🏹
Fun hunt in Alabama, this buck came in chasing does and gave me the opportunity. Took him with the new NAP Killzone RX and my RX-8.
I’ve had history with this deer going back to 2022. 6-year-old management buck, so this one meant a lot.
Still grinding late in the season, thankful and blessed to be a bowhunter.
