Watching the Men’s Olympic Basketball Medal Ceremony brought back so many memories from The World Games 2022 in Birmingham.

There are so many similarities…from the intense level of competition, to the keepsakes and memorabilia issued out by the federations…and last but certainly not least, me DJing and being tasked with playing only the gold medalist’s national anthem on cue as the winning athletes received their due.

Yes, there was pressure 😃 but as they say, pressure creates diamonds 💎 I’m forever grateful and will NEVER forget the experience.

My guy Jörn Verleger was gracious enough to bless me with this awesomeness. Thank you my friend. They are still as shiny as the day you shared them ✨💫
