Recently we had the opportunity to partner up with This is Alabama and Sweet Grown Alabama to film a campaign highlighting Alabama farmers!

What made this piece fun yet challenging was the implementation of both narrative and documentary filming styles. The narrative begins the story, the documentary portion reveals the authenticity behind it.

When it comes to events, you get one shot because there are no retakes. So what’s the secret?

Preparation.

✅ Gear is Packed 3 Days Before

This leaves us enough buffer room to rent in case something doesn’t work as intended.

✅ Video timelines / songs are already set before we arrive.

Sometime it takes hours to get all of the songs and brand assets together in one place… this eliminates that time to be better spent doing other things.

✅ Backups of backups are brought on site.

Because you never know when something will break and there’s usually not a Best Buy around.

Ride On | A Birmingham Creative Film (2025)

Based on a true story, "Ride On" follows Jonathan's (Writer) father as he hitchhikes across America in an extraordinary cross-country adventure. Set against the backdrop of the final chapters of the Vietnam War, our hero quests to see Evel Knievel's attempt to jump the Snake River Canyon. Along the way he finds love, danger and an adventure grand enough to bloom into a family legend.
