🔥 Birmingham was outside and the vibe was on another level.

The O.G. Orchestra pulled up and gave the city something special. Mia X , Fiend , Silkk The Shocker , Mac , and KLC backed by a live symphony orchestra? Yeah… that’s the kind of night people talk about long after the lights go out.

Every song hit different.
Every note felt bigger.
Every seat in the building felt the energy.

Big salute to Mayor Randall Woodfin for hosting and helping bring together a night that celebrated music, culture, and community.

Shout out to the organizations helping move the city forward:
🤝 PC Empowerment | PC Empowerment
🤝 Mogul Mission | Mogul Mission
🤝 Spokes N Vogues

This wasn’t just a concert.

This was New Orleans flavor, Birmingham soul, and timeless music all in the same room.

Legends touched the stage.
The orchestra brought the heat.
And Birmingham showed exactly why we’re one of the coldest cities in the South when it comes to culture.

If you were there, you already know.
If you weren’t… just know the city was talking about it before the last note finished playing. 🎻🔥👑

🚨 ALUMNI PICNIC UPDATE FROM BIRMINGHAM PARK & RECREATION 🚨

Birmingham Park & Recreation is clarifying recent discussions surrounding alumni picnics and gatherings across the city.

According to a statement released Tuesday, there has been no change to the ability of alumni groups to host events in Birmingham city parks, and no mandate has been issued requiring alumni organizations to move their events to Legion Field.

The Park Board says alumni groups that officially request park space may continue to do so, with events requiring approval being handled through the normal Park Board process. Officials also emphasized that conversations about alumni gatherings have focused on public safety and finding the best ways to support these longstanding community traditions.

“We remain committed to working collaboratively with our alumni organizations and community partners to ensure these events continue to be successful and enjoyable for all participants,” said Director Shonaé Eddins-Bennett.
