Took a trip to the Paiute Shoshone Cultural Center today with and !!
We read all the captions (including the one that says do not take pictures)
So here are some pictures of plants they planted outside and their seed bank garden out back!
The staff member was a gem and I am so happy to have my questions answered and ANOTGER PAIR OF EARRINGS FOR MY EARSSSS 😍😍😍
Anyone recreating in this area (and the area itself) would greatly benefit by going to this museum!
Because I couldn’t take pics of the signs I made a note on my phone of words and advice I want to remember:
-Petroglyphs are called Teinüümümui
-don’t touch petroglyph’s with your hands
-Sage is called Sawava
So greatful for this resource! Stop in and donate and buy from the local artists in the gift shop (if you can)!!!
I’ll give you a high five if you can find the picture of my boss Paul in the museum 😂😁😁😁
