A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is now in effect for western North Dakota and eastern Montana. Damaging wind gusts (60-75 mph) and hail (1-2") are the primary hazards should severe weather occur. There is also a low chance for an isolated tornado, particularly in far northwestern North Dakota and far northeastern Montana.
