A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for Burleigh, Ward, Morton, Stutsman, Ramsey, Barnes, Walsh, McLean, Benson, Rolette, Bottineau, Pembina, Mercer, McHenry, Wells, Cavalier, Pierce, Nelson, Foster, Renville, Griggs, Eddy, Towner, Hettinger, Emmons, Kidder, McIntosh, Adams, Grant, Logan, Sheridan, Sioux, Oliver counties until 10:00PM tonight.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area with hail, damaging winds and a tornado or two that are possible, we'll have to be aware of localized flash flooding into the night.

Central ND is the area to watch this afternoon as there is chance for a severe thunderstorm watch to be issued within the next few hours. All threats remain possible including 70 mph wind gusts, golf ball sized hail, and an isolated tornado.

Scattered severe thunderstorms (level 2 of 5) are possible across much of central and portions of western North Dakota today into the evening. Tomorrow the threat for scattered severe thunderstorms shifts southeast and includes the James River Valley.

Riders meet at The Shop (131 Airport Rd, Bismarck) beginning at 10am. Kickstands up at 11am sharp to then head to the the ND Veterans Cemetery.

On this day in 1988 - Cinderella released their album “Long Cold Winter” …one of my favorite albums of all time!

The record reached No. 10 in the US and became double-platinum for shipping two million copies by the end of the year, just as their debut album Night Songs had done earlier.

It was later certified triple platinum.

“Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone)", the band's highest-charting single, reached No. 12, "The Last Mile" reached No. 36, "Coming Home" reached No. 20, and "Gypsy Road" hit No. 51, more than a year after the release of the album.

This album definitely had a huge impact on me…through my junior high heartbreaks, getting ready to go to football games or the mall with friends, cruising around town blasting the cassette (well…as loud as my Plymouth Horizon would go any way:) and singing at the top of my lungs:) lol

Music has a magical way of taking you back to an exact time in your life & allows you to feel those same emotions again every time you hear the songs…no matter how old you get! Thank God for music…especially rock n’ roll:)🎶 ❤️ - gg
