Dear Mr President, John Dramani Mahama
I know you are in a desperate attempt to put an end to the Dumsor and electricity problems in Ghana but in the haste of getting the solution ,
you are causing a great service of demolition to the pockets of the people of Ghana .
The Ndc and your government stood up against E levy but now look at your first shot at the people,
Mr President, I think you are surrounded by a lot of youthful minds and you should come up with a different approach to solving the issue of Dumsor in Ghana .
This D Levy is like hanging the Ghanaian transport owner and user on the rope and toasting him with an effective economy because the cedi appreciated recently.
It's good for our Ghana cedi to gain weight on the economic grounds of the global arena but not at the expense of the Ghanaian who is already suffering from bad social amenities ,improper sanitation environment, unemployment and so forth and so on .
Sir , you need to create a mechanism that shall churn funds into creating an energy production unit based on communal availability of power generation materials and create sub dams to help sustain power in high power usage areas
We need a solution not another levy and fund for mismanagement and loot and share .
If there is this levy on fuel , how can the value of the cedi solve the economic hardship of the country ?
Everything on our market is transported in one way or the other and an effect on the price of fuel is definitely going to reflect on the end product the consumer may buy or the service the Ghanaian may access.
This D levy is a clear indication that the politician only has a political goal and not a permanent plan for his country.
Ghana is blessed with resources which out numbers the populace and yet , Mr President you can't get thinkers who can create a local revenue vault from the sales of all our natural resources but to tighten the tax on fuel which is the basic unit of economic movement in our country Ghana .
Taxes help generate funds to help sustain growth in a country where there is accountability.
Levies pay off in solutions in countries with less resources but intelligent and dedicated leaders .
Mr President we need a brain cracking solution to end Dumsor and not another collection of money for another political goal which will fail in the end .
When will the politician ever put something on the table for the Ghanaian?
We are a country that sits on resources that can cater for an entire continent and yet you are hanging the people to raise funds without any form of accountability.
Dumsor isn't a financial issue , it's a matter of intelligent approach in solving an issue .
Tell us the plan for which you need the levy to implement.
Ghanaians have been through already so I guess , you may have to go back to your tables and get better thinkers to think and find solutions just like ,your team brags about the cedi power.
D levy is a death warrant to the pockets of every Ghanaian because guess what everyone will directly or indirectly pay D levy and you don't need to just go and pump gas .
Mr President, at this juncture of our world ,our generation has access to information and don't live under the olden day political indoctrination.
Let the people of Ghana breath
