PIERCE COUNTY HIGH CLASS OF 2000 TO HOLD REUNION
The Pierce County High School Class of 2000 will hold its 25th reunion at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Okefenokee Country Club. Classmates are encouraged to turn back the clock and gathering for a night of memories, laughter and reconnection.
“It’s been 25 years since we walked across that stage. Let’s catch up with old friends, share stories, and celebrate the journey from then to now,” said a class member. “You and your plus-one will enjoy dinner and dancing with the option of a cash bar.”
The price is $50 per person due by September 18, and can be paid via Venmo -2000 ( #6018 / include maiden name). Cocktail attire please. Former faculty is also welcome.
“Don’t miss this chance to relive the good times, make new memories, and see just how far we’ve all come. We can’t wait to see you there,” said the spokesman.

DAYLILY SOCIETY TO MEET SEPT. 16
The South Georgia Daylily Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 16 at First Baptist Church in Blackshear. This will be the first meeting of the new year. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish to share with everyone at the evening meal. Guest speaker will be Dave Richardson of Indian Camp Daylilies in Nashville. Richardson always shares lots of great information. He will be bringing some plants to sell and may be introducing a new Daylily.
All are invited to attend.

Pierce County is fortunate to have dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to keep Pierce County fed.

The Pierce County Food Pantry will be open today, Friday, September 5th, at 1 pm.
